reversing projects.

Postby catpurr » Fri Sep 04, 2009 6:52 am

How about being able to reverse-work/sabotage projects?

* Reversing projects should take just as long as time was invested into it.
* After the project is at 0%, another day of "sabotaging" will cancel the project and put all invested resources on the ground.
* When you start sabotaging/reversing a work, a local message is broadcast
* Sabotaging could be a seperate skill instead of applying the original skill of that was required by that project.
* When several people are working as well sabotaging a project the sabotaging skills substract to the workers skills.

In many cases it would make sense, (repairing a partially picked lock, removing a partial built house, disassembling a partially created car, and so on. Something to gloss over/ignore is maybe partially crushed hematite, or partially cooked flesh or so.

Against...

Reversing projects should take just as long as time was invested into it.
- why? destroying something is sometimes easier or harder than building

After the project is at 0%, another day of "sabotaging" will cancel the project and put all invested resources on the ground.
- Against, especially against 'all invested'.

Imagine this sort of situation...you put 10 kilos of wood to sloop project and go to forest to cut more. You come back...and puuf...no wood, no sloop.
I have a cunning plan...
