Another simple suggestion. Instead of prompting for an amount each time something is dropped from inventory, drop all directly. If the character didn't want to drop that much, then they can pick back some.
I'm quite sure that the instances on which you just want to drop all (i.e. after hunting, when storing) vastly surpass the ones on which you didn't. So that would cut off a sizable amount of page loads.
Don't mind thieves, after all they only make Cantr life more eventful. Isn't it lovely when a newspawn runs away with a bunch of stolen carrots?
