I was thinking about a kind of storage where you can write on a plate or something. I mainly wanted this so you could store wine or mead in a keg and then write when it was brewed so you can have in effect wine cellars and you can actually keep older vintages for special occasions.

Better labeling on almost everything would be welcome. Furniture, containers, weapons, keys, etc... Maybe there should be a general way to attach a note to an arbitrary object? (cue "kick me" signs on inactive Cantrians)

I would very much like dynamic naming of crates/barrels/bottles. I can never remember which one I put the carrots in, or which has my precious supply of wine...

I would welcome this as well. Something for a resurrected ProgD to dig its teeth into?

shouldn't be too hard, surely? The code is already there for dynamic names, so it'd probably be trivial to adapt it for all objects.

Allowing private notes to be added, as for characters, and signs, as for buildings, would also be great
