Backpacks, sacks, suitcases, ect... carriable storage

Postby nitefyre » Tue Jan 27, 2004 11:18 pm

Well, I realized that there are trunks and buildings and vehicles to store your junk in, but when your carrying it in your inventory, it comes up as a max of 15kg. Maybe a backpack made out of hemp, cloth, cotton, leather, or any of those that make clothing, can be made. Perhaps adding upwards of 5kg of carrying capability, and maybe a small sack or "purse" to carry 2.5kg more. Not much, but sometimes it makes a big difference to my chars, especailly the trek takers.

This has been suggested before, and it's still a good idea...must be hard to implement or something, or not at the top of the priotitys list. Anyway, yeah good idea, although it would weigh your char down furthur making trips last even longer :p
I just can't stop coming back....

I don't think it should be hard to implement. An item that while you are carrying it, increases your max weight capacity. Maybe increases your speed proportionally for a given weight so that your speed at capacity is still the same. It wouldn't even have to act as a container. The problem is, what happens when you're over 15kg and you try to drop the bag? Error message maybe until you unweight a bit.
DOOM!
