Counting people

You enter The Quillanoi Prison - QuillQuill, where you see 0 people, leaving the central area of Quillanoi.

First, i'd say it would be easy enough to change that to say, 'where you see no one'.

And fair enough when you walk into a room and see four or five people, you can say that. But when you walk into the town centre your not really going to go, 'Looks like theres 47 people out here'. I'd just say, 'Looks like theres a lot of people out here'. You know?
People don't change....perceptions do.

Things are fine as they are, i'd say, cant really see this making a huge difference overall anyways to be honest, as i tend to ignore that message most of the time anyways, 'less i'm looking for a building to rob

That would, I suppose depen on the kind of IC job some may have. Maybe they nee to know the exact number of people in and out side. If there are more than can be count quickly than one would have to go to the People page to count them.

I have a character that not only keeps track of numbers of people, but also the number of armed and armored people, and keeps indepth profiles of most people he sees in his travels. It is slightly dull at times, but an important job and it allows me to "remember" just about everything that any specific person owns, who their friends are, and quote many things that they said.

I have probably only made about 50 or 60 profiles so far due to lack of mins. but I will be making many more. Information is valuable if you know how to use it.

I would say it is more in line with the general character of the game to have it more text-based and less precise. I was thinking of 'none', 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, many, masses ... or something like that :) ...

Wouldn't that look better?

It might look better, but sometimes I use that number to know if there's new people in town, while I've been inside somewhere. And I like to see the number, to see how the town is growing. I just don't see the need for the change.
