Just a "Hey it ain't green now" feature. Doesn't effect gameplay AT ALL and adds, well nothing, but lots of games do it anyway and people get them.

Then people could make their own and "submit them" or something as well.

I like that idea. You could get pink for lovey days, yellow for happy days, brown for "that guy is so dull" days"......:D Seriously though, it'd be really neat, and I'd spend points on that if it were possible.

Except I see me getting sad after awhile and wanting green back

Actually you could also just overwrite the CSS locally in your brower. At least with Firefox I've seen this done already.

Right but this way means the player doesn't have to work and just has to click a button and BOOM.

...and its more then just "making it pink" but rather creating themes and making it all "Pink and lovey dovey" with heart buttons for hitting and... yellow eggs with ducks... I don't know.... but you get my drift.

I think it would be better to split the ghost discussion into another topic, because it sounds like an interesting idea but might be unfit for a game that advertised as strictly no magic, no fantasy. I had a character who was seeing dead people but it either required making things up or using OOC information. Also another time when someone told me my other character's body had been found, I spoke IC to the player of someone who had just seen the body, and they reacted as if they had heard it in-game, and the person who originally told me that the corpse had been found got pissed at me for doing that.

If there was a built-in way to play a ghost, I agree a person should only be able to play one ghost at a time, but if they allowed the ghost to go to peace, they could be allowed to play some other character's ghost later on. But once a ghost had moved on to afterlife, they couldn't come back anymore.

I think ghosts should only be able to speak in private, not in public, there would be no event of it and the targeted listener could choose to ignore it if they want to. I'd be okay with allowing ghosts to drag resources as long as it was restricted to very light objects, for example less than 100 grams. They could also knock on doors. I don't think they should be allowed to attack people, unless natural healing gets re-implemented. If all actions cost credits, that would limit the amount of available actions in a day, but might encourage people to use some sort of macros for voting and that could be bad.

Ghosts would ruin the game. "Pssst pssst run from the town they just killed me and they are going to kill you too."

But maybe a player can have the option of fatally wounding a person instead of instantly killing them so that a person who wants someone dead can know that someone is going to die, but will allow the dying person to say a few words first.

No note writing, no making projects, not even being allowed to possess anything but the clothes on the person, but instead of seeing a corpse on the ground, you see a fatally wounded individual.

That would be more of a feature to suggest (and I believe it has been) and not something you'd use points for.

Why not? You could use points to fatally wound someone...

Because 1-it would have to be hard coded, and 2-No one would bother to "fatally wound" so someone could rp a death. If they were going to let them rp death, they'd leave them close to death anyways and let them. If they weren't going to let them rp, they sure as hell wont use points to let them.(besides, how would you work that nonsense? Spend your points so you're unable to kill people all the way! woo!)

It's about as pointless as using points for ghosts.

Agreed, using points for wounding is useless. However generally I think its a nice idea, made a suggestion. However I doubt it will happen, considering its complicatedness to implement.
