This is my first "bump" ... please do not get mad ... WE really need this implementation... :wink:

I don't like the idea of a drop-down emote selection list - not sure why, just a gut-instinct I think - it (well, it doesn't really, you can still *...* I guess...) limits RP scope - it would never include *pirouettes then leaps gracefully with a seamless landing*?

Wouldn't dancing includ some skill?

But When the emote buttons dont have what you want.. JUST DON'T USE IT!!!

I see no reson not to apply this... or to implument this. Sorry.

I also like to use .... * ... * tags ... To bring pace to RP ... but the problem is how th chatrecters .... let us say ... a Turkish and a Polish charecter will RP without speaking the same language ... Assume that they do not know english as well? The problem starts there. And we encourage people to have long sails to discover new lands and start new relations. But if others can not see that you are *smiling* than how will they react your gestıres? ...

I really look for new ideas from those who are against the "emote list" idea :wink:

Cantr is a game for multiple langauges.
Just because you've never had to encounter other language groups, does not mean it isn't worth being implemented.
The way you described dancing, HF, would not register at all to someone of another language.

I'm agnostic, I don't think it really accomplishes anything meaningful, but I don't think it will cause any problems.

Well I'm assuming, then, you've never had to communicate with someone of another language.

Can you really sail across the ocen and encoter people speking diffrent langues?

i9f so COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL I want to buy a ship tommorow and go speak some spanish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(or polish french german ECT.)

I've had an English character meet a Russian.
And my French characters have all met many Dutch.

I have met characters who speak other languages, in fact one of my spanish characters has to deal with a bunch of germans. Anyway, here is your official warning Pie and TheGuy. Spell right or you will be found and stabbed repeatedly and left to die slumped over your keyboard which you never learned to use properly. Pie, I commend your recent changes for the better, it is excellent.
