An easy way to change that it to change the damage that all wepons can doo, like, and rais the skill level needed to get to the top, and implument that one extra skill level, the master skill level thingy.

Also, another idea is to change the way you change your skill level. Instead of having it be a numerical system, in wich at sertain points you change level, you change it so that it takes 5 points to rais youre level frome level a to b. and then, like, 20 points frome b to c, and if you put those numbers in right, you can give the allusion of having the weapons be easyer to use, but you still have people who can master them.

I hop I didn't just ramble there...

I agree. Body armor is in the works, so let's expand the horizons.

Did I heard body armour is in the works? Hardened leather armour and hardened leather armour with iron and or steel studs.
I would have no idea of what to add when treating hide to get hardened leather. It could be a seperate precess after the hide is made into leather.
I think that hardened leather to be the first to be added. And the other plate and chain armour a while after.

Armor in Cantr is not a near future thing. Do a search for armor and armour, and you will learn all you ever wanted to know about the prospect of armor being implemented.

Chakrams! Chakrams! I want to be the next Axel! Chakrams!

Wikipedia wrote:The chakram (Devanāgarī: चक्रम) is a throwing weapon that was used by the ancient Indians; it is a flat metal ring with a sharp outer edge from 5 to 12 inches (13−30 cm) in diameter.

It has an effective range of 40 to 50 meters. Because of its aerodynamic shape (similar to an aeroplane wing) it is not easily deflected by wind.

A much larger (and purely fictional) version of the chakram has been used in many fantasy and martial arts media. This version, most likely due to its size, is restricted mostly to being a melee weapon instead of a throwing one, with its fighting technique being similar to the acrobatic use of a hula hoop in circus acts.

How would this weapon be different then the existing low steel cost weapons? The weapons list is already full of weapons that will not be made in any significant numbers because they have no outstanding features.

It's not, I guess, aside from how cool-looking it can be. Sorry, just tossing ideas around. You can go ahead and make it a very low priority, or not a priority at all.

Nothing is difficult about adding armour. We could add it just like shields. But then people will complain that it doesn't affect movement, or working, it doesn't make you more tired, "How in the hell can my platemail not stop a mountain goat attack?! Bloody skills!!"...or they will just complain because there was another poke that brought fighting to attention again.

We have also kind of been waiting until clothing can have functionality, so we can have shiny descriptions of the armor as it is worn. :)
