How about being able to throw fresh dung at people?
It shouldn't do any damage, but it could be the ultimate way of saying "i don't like you"
you can already do this, it's called "giving it to them" accompanied with a fun **emote

I've also had problems with my darn shield getting in the way... I wasn't trying to kill myself persay, but I had a weak akward fighter trying to beat himself up for RP reasons when no one was looking and It took the better part of a year to do any convinceing dammage cus I would either forget to drop the shield or I'd miss or get this... I could only do 0 points of dammage barefisted
, had to stop to make a bahg-nack which unto itself was only hitting for 3.

I had an idea for the whole emblems on shields thing whilst playing Dark Chronicle
How about we have inspirations? It would work like this, you see an animal, and you can click a button by it's name saying "Be inspired by it" Or something of that nature. There would then be a project called "Engrave" which you could do to any shield, and perhaps other things. This would then engrave the last "Inspiration" you had onto a shield, so if you see a rare animal you can remember it, and engrave as many as you like so long as you don't try to engrave anything else.
There could also be inspirations from things other than animals, such as statues and monuments, or even vehicles. An animal would have it's own description, such as "A golden lion on it's hind legs is engraved in the shield" or "A dark snake is envisioned on the shield's surface". But monuments or vehicles would merely have it's name on it
"An iron shield with "a statue of bob" engraved in it""

Add range to ranged weapons, allowing to shot against any visible char (Not going to work unless a better visibility system is implemented).
For balance (and realism) add arrows for bows and darts for crossbows:
- without arrows/darts, the bow/crossbow can't be used.
- better arrows/darts inflict more damage.
Wooden arrows/crossbows: -1 to the base damage of the bow/crossbow.
Bronze-headed arrows/crossbows: +0 to the base damage of the bow/crossbow.
Iron-headed arrows/crossbows: +1 to the base damage of the bow/crossbow.
Making wooden arrows:
(carpentry or making weapons)
500 g. wood
50 g. feathers
2 days of labour
knife needed
produces 10 wooden arrows
Making wooden darts:
(carpentry or making weapons)
600 g. wood
50 g. feathers
2 days of labour
knife needed
produces 10 wooden darts
Making bronze-headed arrows:
(carpentry or making weapons)
50 g. broze
400 g. wood
50 g. feathers
2 days of labour
knife and hammer needed
produces 10 bronce-headed arrows
Making bronce-headed darts:
(carpentry or making weapons)
60 g. bronze
500 g. wood
50 g. feathers
2 days of labour
knife and hammer needed
produces 10 bronce-headed darts
Making iron-headed arrows:
(carpentry or making weapons)
40 g. iron
400 g. wood
50 g. feathers
2 days of labour
knife and hammer needed
produces 10 iron-headed arrows

I've always considered it implicid that arrows and such can be recovered (also explaining why it takes so long to hit again *pulls arrow out of his victims checst and begins cleaning it*
)... if arrows are implemented these ones sound too heavy and difficult to make, especially if you plan on hunting with them. I do however think guns with very difficult to manufacture ammunition would be fun. (requires lead, phospherus, coal, and salt[pretty sure that was the anicent recipe]) That way you may have a weapon that hits for 70ish... but you'd really have to want something dead to spend the ammo.
[edit] not that I think guns will ever be added

It is just a relic. An object that exists in the database with no real plans on ever adding it (there are many of these objects, from cameras and cannons to computer programs and airstrips). Note that the gun he mentioned is object number 45 (out of more then 600), with numbers assigned chronologically (meaning that this is likely an ancient relic, I know it is from before my time). While these objects are generally not a "secret", their existance is usually kept quiet so as to not confuse people (there is a lot of weird stuff in there).

In my previous suggestion, less than 4 days of work for each 10 arrows (ten attacks).
But the numbers can be changed. How many days of work do you think would be fair?
When hunting and fighting, the arrows that killed a prey or a char could be recovered from the corpse (maybe with only a certain probability).
Anyways, if range is not implemented, there is no argument to handicap the "ranged" weapons with the use of ammo.
