Oh yeah after forgetting that the cotten gin wasn't evented for another 1700 years and that the automobile was even later. Oh and if you completly forget the entire city of Quillinoi I could see how you could confuse the time setting as midieval.

But it says right on the opening page that the time system is screwed up. Realy the only primitive thing is the weaponry and that is just because it would suck to have 1 shot kills.

I would like to see horse drawn carriages or just plain horses as "vehicles"...

i'll take motorbikes instead thanks

You see horse arriving from that path.

You see a man shoot a another man.

ANother man says "Why did you shoot me".

Man says: "are limit on hunting horses is three and you came in on the fourth"

Swymir> I'm not saying that Cantr IS a medieval game...I just like to think of it that way. And since cotton gins and cars are quite unusual I have been able to put a blind eye to them this far :)

True, I too see cantr as mainly medieval, but carriages and the such have been suggested many times and still are not to be found ingame. And a vehicle like a motorcycle fills the gap between bikes and cars.

With Cantr 2.0 they have the ability to put everything back on track, so that Cantr can be a medieval game again

Yeah I know what you said. Most of the time I just talk. It's barely ever directed to a specific person.

WOW! Hey everyone, look at the new boat type!
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. It is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Only I will remain.

Nice Dinghy, I noticed it a while back.

Though I suggest one of those rubber boats and thats what I thot the dinghy would look like (not wood) but I didnt do no research.

so are we gonna be able to ride horses or not. I personally IRL have 3. I cant see myself go off and kill them for some bones hide and meet.(I'll wait a few more years first) I dont think They should have been able to be hunted. but to be tamed. so its a little more work since you have to feed it and yourself too. but it would be alot more fun.

Horse Domestication isn't something that can really be suggested as a vehicle. That requires programming, and is something that is in a nifty little "Do to maybe later" list.

Yeah, Horse's don't and won't EVER lay the pipe as good as bikes will. On a side note, How about a Tank. Not one with guns of course not but they will travel on pretty much anything except water and carry more but they would go just a alittle faster then people. They would have treads and a wooden or iron body. A small cockpit on the top would be where the pilot was and 4 or 5 people could be in the inside. Dunno just came up with it.

A note about vehicle suggestions:
Military vehicles don't make sense in Cantr unless vehicle-mounted weapons are created. Besides, warship, oil tanker and "Tank" are vocations. Just because everything is a specialist in the modern world doesn't mean that they should be in Cantr. If you want a ship to be an oil tanker, put oil on it. If you want it to tote 20-pound cannons, take it up with the PD but ADD them to the ship, don't build them into the hull.

No buttons. In Cantr, you don't need an explained method of operating a machine or a weapon. You just need to have it.
