Image

Meh, I just scaled the woman to fit the man's size. Here's with cotton tunics. Continuing to use Flash for this, I have a "shirt" movie clip that has three layers, the outline, a mask and a material. The material has another movie clip which currently has cotton, hemp, hide and leather. I think it's good that people can see the material from the picture, even if the surface structure of the fabric was exaggerated. Actually I should've exported the one with hemp since in that it's most clearly visible.

Funny thing about you doing this Seko. It will make people wan't to wear pants.

Good job. I think this will work out quite well.

Are weapons and shields supposed to be displayed as well? Just a thing that came to my mind right now. Wouldn't be very sensible I assume. Wrong perspective.

Production should hopefully be pretty fast using vector graphics, but before I start exporting a whole bunch of images, it should be decided how big they should be. These are 160 px tall, or at least were when I sketched them.

I'm wondering if all this would make it too graphic.. In the weapons idea, maybe there could eventually be a link to the weapons "take closer look at xxxx weapon" And it would show an image on a new page or w/e

Clothing have slots. Weapons and shields do not. Just where would you put them?

In the hands? But yes, you're right, I didn't consider that weapons aren't equipped in Cantr. You would have to show the most powerful items from your inventory (as far as that can be determined), but that wouldn't be very elegant. So definitely no weapons.

Genius:) I see that the idea of love in August. I think with weapons and other items are unnecessary, they tell me about it to show how the figure looks, exactly what it comes to clothes. Other things are unnecessary.

By the way, would you appreciate any help with the drawings or do you intend to do it all yourself, Seko?

Well you could help if you want to, we should just divide the work so that we won't end up drawing the same things twice.

Stuff I've drawn this far is:

Coats:
hemp coat

Shirts:

cotton/hemp/knit wool tunic
beaded hemp tunic
hide tunic
cotton shirt
silk shirt

Trousers:
cotton/hemp/suit trousers
wool slacks
leather pants

Skirts:
cotton/hemp skirt

I'm using the same outline for items that are very similar, then there's a details layer that's used to add decorative lines that are not part of the outline (for example seams, embroidery). I could email you the .fla file so you can take a look.

There can't be a natural skin color until it can be customized, and not like that was going to happen any time soon. Maybe there will be a "Disclaimer: Cantrians aren't really green." Anyway, when/if skin tones get accepted, it will be just as easy to switch that as it is to switch the type of cloth.

Edited to add progress report.

List of items drawn

1 hemp coat

Shirts:

1 cotton/hemp/knit wool tunic
2 beaded hemp tunic
3 hide tunic
4 cotton shirt
