Yup, I have one that managed to survive 15 years without any protection whatsoever. He's now managed to build himself a bone shield. A great improvement over 15 years.
He's one of my favourites, has been the only one there most of the time, it's no "spicy area", but he's a survivor.

I think it must've been on the other island I had another character that was bothered by sheep and cows. (Killed by a mountain goat.) But why couldn't it just be possible to take the hair off the furs and get the hide that's in the bottom?

Yes...I even thought of a more gruesome way. Using the "hide" from dead bodies.

He wears a piece of human skin around his lower regions, leaving little to the imagination.

I'm only talking about the Sserperia-Ssonigo-Szef..whatever island though...I don't have any characters on the other one.

Well, that answers my whole point, no? :) ... And the Swedish area is gradually reaching the age where sailing becomes more common .... so that should solve the whole issue? No?

In my view, no, because sailing takes a hell of a lot of time...especially when you don't even know where to sail in the first place.

Yeah...sea trade is easy and efficient. If you know where the target is. But there's a whole lot of sea out there that has nothing in it, and no one can tell which way they need to set out without cheating. Since you can't see very far at all...discovery is tricky.
