You're right it's a stupid idea....

They must get this problem a lot in the Polish section though,

I mean English Language section you have UK, Australia and NZ and USA and Canadian, basically, what with insonmniacs and nocturnal players round the clock there will be someone active.

But the Polish Section I would imagine its dead there in the wee small hours. I suppose there will be some polish speaking players around the world but I suspect very few....

There are a lot of polish players who are absolutely addicted to their computers and they can be active at any time of a day. I must admit that apllies to me as well  In Poland live almost 40 milions and another 40 milions live all over the world so It's not "just a few". I don't live in Poland too :)

About timezones - I don't think there is a need to formalize it. Timezones exist already, and their are natural. My chars sit next to thier friends near the fire-camp at the evening, and wake up during the sunrise. I'ts just an imagination.

I guess there are a few people around for whom the timezone they live in has little impact on the time they log into the game.

Take me as an example: Both me and my girlfriend are nurses, with me doing exlusicely night shifts and her doing mostly day shifts. I don't want to get into the details of the resulting schedule (I'm pretty tired and I think my head would explode - it's as interesting as that :? ) - let's just say the only thing remotely regular about it is that I log in after coming home from my work around 7:30 am local time on my working days.

Of course there's nothing even remotely regular in the way my working days and my days off are spread over the month...

I have played only for a couple of days so far, but from the looks of it I can play Cantr as it's now without too much of a problem in spite of my schedule. I don't think I'd still be able to enjoy it that much if almost everybody else was online on a mostly regular base at roughly the same time, though...

I think tiddy ogg has the best point: known time zoned islands would be a criminal's heaven. I can take advantage of this now, but at least I have to stay up to the wee hours of the morning to do it, which is an acceptable trade-off.

Not to mention, again, the segregation, it's quite unfair.

I know for a fact that there is also quite a lot of Australian players... It's not just Europe and America America America!! XD :D

Hrmm... This is why Suggestions is a great place to make enemies! 8) If you disagree with an idea, the poster thinks you disagree with them personally and takes it personally. If you don't, then those against it hate you. ARGH! :?

So this is my truthful opinion from herein on the matter:
