He's waiting for a character to spawn in Pok Desert so he can live in peace and build a house of materials a year's walk away. And his characters won't find it on K Island, that is for sure.

I know Yo Yo sort of brought this up, but how about a sled that you can pull. Make it take 8,000g of wood, and perhaps throw in some bronze for game balance. It would actually travel slower then a person on foot, like a quarter the speed of a fully encumbered person (trail), all the way to three quarters the speed of a fully encumbered person (expressway), and would allow to to carry eight times what you could if you were to travel on foot. I think it would be a great hit for poor traders (or anyone for that matter that needs to get alot of materials from other places), or any people in an iron/steel poor economy.

Space shuttles wont happen until folks start exploring the rest of the unknown world as the mighty jos can do as he pleases at any time and new lands are made everyday.

airplanes? they could like, fly over water, and over land, and could carry 5000 if its a glyder, but if its a super sonic jet, 50000. and missles. and CARPET BOMING!

New Lands aren't made every day. IIRC, the shape of the world map hasn't changed in a long time. Not all of it is completed, as far as animals and resources etc. go, but it's all there.
