Checked the suggestions list and didn't see it per say, but how about a machine where you build...dun dun dun....a well! Build this machine and water becomes available in that location. Can be made inside or out, but would be essential for the creation of 'thirst'.
Discuss.

Pretty, already done. Just awaiting for additional programming before implementation.

Frankly, I don't see the point. Do we really need to slow the game down even more by having people need water as well as food? What will that prove?
There are a zillion resources that are currently-under utilized. Clay that could be used for pottery as well as just kilns. People actually getting damaged by something now and again and needing an onion or two for a change. Not to mention actual uses for magnesium, tin, zinc, chrome...
I thought the idea was to remove water from the game.

I agree. A digging machine (limestone) or digging machine (stone) would be about a million times more useful then a digging machine (clay) as things currently are. But guess which one we have the option to build? Using water for other things would be useful, and there are plenty of other resources as outlined by Sociologist that could be implemented in more ways that..

I dread the day when Cantrians start getting thirsty and dirty. I think it will be great for rp and realism but, omg, it's going to make everyday life so hard. And my chars are already overly occupied with repairs. (Yeah, I know. They have too many things and should get the minions to repair them. Right.)

The day thirst is implemented, is the day all my characters go silent.
How long until the account idles out?
Some things Cantr needs. Thirst is not one of them...
And about bauxite, I built a bauxite drill. Someone else supplied the steel... but I made it. Probably back before making something was so hard though.
And as for a well... sure, why not. Shouldn't be available in mountains though. If there's a stream fine... but lets keep the mountains barren except for animals.
