Lol. I really only hate it when people don't use periods and their sentences all seem to flow togeather and thats how I read them so they all just sound like they never ever ever stop and it just goes on and on and on and I never get sleep and I like cookies and beer and chips and girlies and... Periods ^^.

I have always been a strong advocate of the wait a few days before new character can be created idea. I have been saying this for years. It also fits in with the whole being able to still see the next few days events after you die if you could make it so that you could only see the events page for another day or two after your character died. Of course you could just leave it with a simple that character becomes locked for a few days before it eventually is deleted.

Agreed entirely...I tend to be bothered even by people using : ) in their speech, though you can think of it as meaning *smiles* easily enough.

Oh and in answer to the suicidal newspawns thing... burn them! Burn them all!

The players, I hope you mean. The characters should be dragged away to padded cells, stripped of any weapons, forcefed, and have bucklers nailed to their arms so they can't puch themselves successfuly.

That's nice to know. I assumed you were being sarcastic... but in my defence I am now approaching 60 hours without sleep, and I'm finding it hard to concentrate...
