*shrugs*

Well, even so. You get the idea of the huge amount extra needed for the server move. It won't cost much more afterwards.

To be more precise:

Currently we pay $75 per month plus $25 per year. If we want to move to one particular server we have in mind, it would be $99 per month (plus still the $25/year) plus $99 setup costs plus $75 for one extra month on our current server, to make a smooth transfer. In other words, $174 once and $99 monthly. The $174 we pretty much have in cash, or will have soon, I think. That is not the major problem. We would like to have some more reliable support, however, for the $99 a month. We are currently getting about enough donations for our current server, but are dependent on very few people donating. We would feel much more secure if we had this $99 based on more people donating less each. So, if you want us to move, please consider using the monthly subscription button, even if it is for a small amount (smaller than $5/month is also possible). If we have enough of those, we'll move.

I should also add that moving server is a very time consuming process, so I cannot guarantee that we'll move immediately after having enough money. I need to have enough free time, and we have contractual obligations too, of course. But the donations are a first requirement.

Yes a Euro has been worth more than a dollar for quite a long time now, if I can remember correctly at least.
