Dragging

Postby SekoETC » Fri Aug 06, 2004 11:27 am

If you could drag people to and from roads, it would be useful for example dragging criminals back to the city they escaped without having to orally persuade them to turn around, or to drag sleeping friends with you.
Actually you could define wether you would follow or resist when being dragged while offline. Thus it would only need one person to "drag" or lead someone for example to a meeting but you'd require more people when dragging a resistant person. There is often trouble when someone goes on a vacation when his character is on the road and travelling partners must either stop to wait him or leave him behind.
We could also extend this to corpses: if a respected person dies in a distant place, for sure you would like to carry his corpse home than to bury it to a strange soil. Dragging on roads when the target is either fighting back or dead would be slow, about 50% of the normal speed, but if the person was following nicely the speed would be adjusted by the one who is walking slower.
