Re: Fire for rp purposes
Well, doesn't a flower bouquet just deteriorate with time? And I was thinking soap as a resource rather than item, although I suppose if it was an object, it could be used like dice and musical instruments and deteriorate that way. Sometime in the far future it could also fix dirtiness but for now, just deteriorating would be okay. It just needs to be usage based and not time based. See why I suggested there should be a general use an item script instead of musical instruments and dice and such getting their own scripts? It's because uses will keep popping up.

How about a washing project in a bucket with soap and water?
Just washing and whatever to be washed might be rp (people, dishes, clothes, etc)
Regarding the logs... even if burning them might seem nonsense that's something for characters to decide.

I'm not a 100% certain that a project can't have an output (I darkly remember something), but I guess it should work this way. Would be better to take e.g. a bowl though. The bucket is a little overused.
edit: We have a topic about soap here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4030
and one about dirtyness here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3659

You can use lye with animal fat to make glycerin, which combined with nitric acid makes nitroglycerin....
You see a man in his twenties use 1000g of nitroglycerin on project "disassemble stone building."

This would actually be the same process as for making soap. Soap and glycerin are coproducts. (As are glycerin and biodiesel.)
