Whispering

Postby Genevieve » Fri Aug 14, 2009 8:19 pm

Since my original suggestion got lost and WAS NOT the actual suggestion implemented, even though it was moved to implemented suggestions, here it is again in all its glory: I STILL WANT THIS!!

It would be nice if we could have a "project" of sorts, where it would work like this:

John requests to speak with you "Hey, can we talk?"
Accept/Reject (with an option to say something in rejection)

if Accept:

Town sees:

John speaks quietly to James
James speaks quietly to John

until they are done, and the town sees nothing else.

If reject:

Town sees:

John speaks quietly to James

nothing else.

If you accept the other persons request, the two of you are able to speak to others and to each other quietly (until one or both of you click the "x" to cancel the project) and see what each other says, but then your quiet whispering doesn't bug the whole town.

Also - how about you can't join another whispering project (just like a regular project) until you aren't on the current one anymore?

Seems alright to me.. (As I had already said earlier.)

Except that I don't think it should be stopped by logging out... I think it should be stopped by one of them talking with someone else or an option of stopping that talk.

I agree as well. Catching two people on at the same time for an entire conversation doesn't happen a whole lot.
Every action has a consequence.

True, true.

So it should just be possible to stop it like you stop any other project..?

Yeah that would seem to make the most sense.
