Breaking shields?

Breaking shields?

While doing nothing I thought of something. You might reject it but I'll say it anyways.

Why not make it to where strong people might have a chance at breaking some of the lesser shields. Say a strong Expert fighter attacks a man with a bone shield. Wouldn't it be possible for him to break the shield? Of course this would only work between great fighters and weak shields.

Anyways... just a random thought. Hope you like it or that it might be the start of a better suggestion.

As far as I know, shields already take damage from "being used", and how else would they get used than by getting hit? If it has been taken into account in the code then RD could raise the usage based deterioration values for the flimsier shields and maybe there would be a higher chance of a shield getting broken if it's hit enough. Even better if the damage depended on how much damage was blocked.
