Following on from a thread in the general discussion forum - I'm not sure if this is entirely the right place for this but I am proposing a new Forum, in the public Discussion Forums section.
Call it 'In-Game Discussion' (or any name you choose the name is unimportant but the function is)
This would contain all threads that relate to in game events, characters, locations. There would be no change to the 4+ day rule just one location for all related threads.. Included threads would be I Am... I Was... Confess your Cantr Sins type of subjects...
Thus OOC material, announcements, discussion about changes in game mechanics, important changes etc. could continue in the General Discussion without being interfered with by IG content. People would be able to keep track of the important stuff whilst avoided chatter about in game events if they so chose...
Maybe trial it in one language... doesn't have to be in english to see if it works?

Dude did you even read it.... it doesn't change the CR one bit it stops people moaning they accidentally came across that IG information or this character died...
It won't make a blind bit of difference but then they can all stop being so self righteous about it...

The CR is pretty difficult to moderate - glaring things can be dealt with, but unless a CD or PD member who is involved in an incident, and knows that it's within four days, sees the post - it's not always spotted.
A lot of people, myself included, don't like reading threads and finding out that someone is dead, or something has happened that's of importance, before they find out in-game.
My opinion on this is that people should just use their own judgement in choosing what threads they read.
At the same time, people creating threads should make it clear in the thread title if there are spoilers.

Dude that's tough luck because as a moderator of the board and a staff member its sadly part of your job wether you like it or not!
Or maybe I misunderstood what it's all about...
