Seeing ships from landlocked areas
I noticed yesterday to my dismay that charries can't see the names of boats from landlocked locations. So, my charries on boats can see the names of ships not even on the screen, but my charries on an off-coastal town can't see the names of ships that might only be 10 pixels away? Seems a bit unrealistic. Just because there isn't a beach, doesn't mean I'm suddenly blind.

You can only see the names of sea towns if your boat can dock the location.
The salty sea air does strange things to the senses.
You can't even see the type of boat you're in...
Yeah, I've had that problem in bikes and boats, if my character is getting taken somewhere by someone else (maybe even kidnapped) you can't see what you're riding in.
And another thing, unless I'm mistaken, is that if you're in a boat docked to a boat you can't see the other boats out at sea.
