Les difficultés dans la région française

Postby Doug R. » Sun Feb 15, 2009 10:54 pm

It has been known for a while that the French area has been having serious problems. I want to start this thread so that the players of french-speaking characters can lend their wisdom and experiences. The goals are:

-Create a very clear picture of the problems facing french-speaking players.
-Have the administration use this picture to determine if any action should be taken.
-If so, use this thread to find out what action is preferable and acceptable to french-speaking players.

Some things have already been said in the staff forums, but on principle, things shouldn't be quoted out of staff forums, so we can just start over (but feel free to quote your own posts .

If there are players that can't read English, it would be very useful if someone could provide a translation.

*bump*

We are assigning hard-coded spawnpoints to some language groups. If you think that would be appropriate for your group, please reply.

Doug a dit:

Well, that's the big question. I don't want to mess anything up for you guys, so leaving things the way they are is an option also.

As you can see, Doug, French players don't seem to have opinions. I would lean to going to fixed spawnpoints, if that's what the other langauges are doing. The small language groups, I mean. Four would be great. There are at least three towns capable of sustaining life at this moment (I can mail you the names).

We are flourishing at the moment, compared to a year ago, but if and when animals start attacking, we could be back to 0 quickly.

Thanks for your help.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it, as they say. I'll leave it as-is.
