Cantr has finally done it. I did something very stupid with my character along with other things. And I was in serious trouble. Not OOC trouble but in game trouble. I was soooo worried about what to do I spent the whole night divising strategies and counter strategies to my solutions. I had two hours of sleep. Literally. I was a very unhappy camper. My sleeping pattermns are at risk!

I've done that before. Particularly when negotiating with people who may prove violent.

Ask whoever played Elanor Roi how eloquent RTS Zheng was before the SJ's killed him.

You commited yourself to a plan of action before you were totally committed to seeing that course of action through. That was your downfall. Also improper planning contributed, and then on top of that you panicked and compromised your position.

Now it is completely under control. And it was unavoidable. My blood lust led to the problem whihc I or nobody else who knows will mention. Anyway, my strategies were flawless! I was safe whatever I did. It worked out now. There is only one thing that would of ruined my best character.

had you removed the materials form that building beforehand, and made sure you set the bait project deliberately low, then the plan was flawless. As it was you did neither, and it resulted in you being faced with having all your resources used on meaningless projects and wasted, or releasing the targets.

You had every opportunity to successfully kill the targets and avoid the debacle you caused.

I have now come up with a better solution.

What you mean is that you messed up and gave up your favourable position to accept the demands of the very two you had intended to kill, achieving nothing and more than likely weakinging your position and potentially causing you more trouble in the future.

Nope. I have safeguards.

Failure to Commit is Commiting to Failure

Remember that.

Mistakes happen. Usually my character make s none. That is why he is powerful and deadly.

It was not a mistake. It was a failure to commit and plan properly. You could have sucessfully executed your plan with no trouble. Yet you are now negotiating for the materials inside your own building!

The reason and blame for this failure lies squarely on your shoulders.

Same here.

Hopefully this post will bring more readers to this obscure thread, and someone else will be able to puzzle it out, though.
