I got my wife a sewing machine. She wanted it, no vaugeries, she ~asked~ for it, shopped with me for it, put it on layaway.

I'm going crazy over her telling me not to get roses, carnations are great, and just being really reasonable as far being a girl.

Valentine's day sucks... In here it's a day of friendship rather than love, but it only reminds me of how lonely and unpopular I am.

I will get a card, when I can find the time and if I remember!

(I will also curse at the extortionate cost of buying a last minute card from a 24hour garage)

True to form I forgot.. had to fess up and will now have to buy my card and chocolates tomorrow!
