Political Compass Survey

I would like to carry out a political survey of Cantr-forumgoers.
In the past, a number of members of the Faery Tale Online community took this survey, and the results, when plotted on a 2-dimensional graph, revealed some interesting trends about the people who participated. I thought it would be interesting if the players of Cantr did the same. Then maybe the two sets of data could be compared.
If you want to participate, take the test at:
http://politicalcompass.org/ and either post the set of coordinates you receive here, or PM them to me if you want to remain anonymous when the results are published.
I am aware that this test is somewhat focused on the politics of the United States, but the ideas in the examples they give are transferable, so try to use your imagination.
When I think I've collected all the results I can, I will visualise them and post the chart here.

I probably don't understand enough issues to be able to produce very good, accurate results, especially since I'm sick of listening to politics lately. But here they are:
Economic Left/Right: 4.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.97

I've taken these before. My left vs. right seems to vary a lot depending on the mood I'm in and how the questions are asked, but I'm pretty solidly on the libertarian side. No shocker, I generally consider myself a civil libertarian and an economic "moderate".

Too Conservative to be libertarian, and I think those questions put me further to the left than I am.

It's been about two years since I answered this survey. Back then we exchanged our results in another forum with German players of some game, and I remember we found the questions "rather American", in the meaning they partly didn't fit our background well enough, but seemed to aim at an American audience.

I used to be close to Gandhi. Now it seems I'm shifting diagonally toward the authoritarian/right.
Economic Left/Right: -2.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.82

So +1 to that. not being a participant to the assumptions of the typical US spectrum, I get a result that I don't feel describes me at all.
On one hand, I am quite conservative in my social values, I believe in family, in the need and utility of a government to create a framework that we can all co exist in, on the other, on my land, or behind closed doors, well, as my Grandfather puts it "as long as they don't do it in the streets and frighten the horses".
I am not socialist or communist, but I do believe that universal education and health care as well as basic welfare is a pragmatic course for a society to take, just to avoid having a population full of ignorant, diseased, desperate people.
While the free market might be the best model we have, following Gorden Gecko gives us Enron, the gulf oil spill, and the GFC.
So I am institutionally strongly left wing and slightly authoritarian, personally middle of the road and libertarian.
I have heard that people start life statically on the left and libertarian, then swing right and Conservative, before taking the choice and either ending up libertarian or Conservative.

What are your coordinates?
L/R -2,6
A/L -5,5
I feel the axes are not really independent from each other. I expect the vast majority of people will be on or near the line from left libertarian to right authoritarian. Also the grid shows people's stance vs. freedom/liberty, but ignores other political factors, like social awareness and ethical views. I use a tripolar scheme, combining views on individualism/liberalism, social awareness/socialism and ethical stance/confessionalism when comparing political views of people and parties.
Finally, i think the origin (the (0,0)-point) may be about average for the US, but it certainly is not the average for the rest of the world.
