Iron ore created by algae

So not only did these things free up most of the oxygen we breath today they also concentrated the iron for us. Never thought of iron as a fossil metal.

I saw the title of this thread and thought to myself:
"What the funking hell?!?!"

Didn't read the article, but probaly interesting lesson in geology.

About.com is very good isn't it?
