Yawn.
Baseball in a word.
I'm wearing red socks.
But.. I don't like the team.
I don't like any of them. None at all.
Unless I can't sleep. Then I like them, when combined with my pillow.
Yawn.
(EDIT: Can someone explain the whole red socks white socks team names? I find them mindboggling.)

I'm very happy, I don't particularly like the White Sox, but I really hate Houston. Games 2 and 3 were awesome to watch, I didn't see game four. My Braves should not have been knocked out in the first round though.

Yeah, Two and Three were amazing.... but game four I missed most of, except the end. Apparently it was a pitcher's duel, a good one I heard, but a pitcher's duel nonetheless.

As a red sox fan, I could identify with what the white sox were going through and was happy for them. But I wanted a better series. They were all awesome games. You got everything from grand slam comebacks to amazing pitcher duels, but the series scoreboard makes it look like a blowout.
Houston played great, and definitely deserved to take one or two away.
All I know is, the Cubs better jump on the bandwagon and reverse their curse before 2008 rolls around. Going a century without a title is harsh.
***********
And to all those non-American, non-Japanese, non-Latin American, non-South Americans out there who don't understand the "sox":
Some teams in the beginning years of baseball were named after their sock colors. This got old after a while, but the Chicago White Sox and the Boston Red Sox like to keep it old-school.
Look, you've got your weird futbol rivalries and nuances that we'll never understand, and we've got our weird baseball rivalries and nuances that you'll never understand.
All I know is, last year when the red sox won it all, I cried with joy, along with the entire New England area and the extended red sox nation, so to me, baseball's anything but a "yawn." Go Sox!

Ah-ah, you've got to specify which Sox you're refering to, now. I'm sad the Red Sox couldn't pull off a second victory this year, but atleast the Yankees didn't win. Atleast I felt like we were half there. Just with a little bit of spray paint on our feet.
But with baseball over with now... Go Pats!
