so here is my debate question.. who here thinks that it is good that some school sistems are letting creationism or Intelegent disign into there schools? i mean.. of course there is a debate(like the one we just had earlier, wich i totaly won since you wont answer me!!) And children should know what all that debate is about.

What do you think?

Totally ignoring the arguments of everyone else and saying the same lame, false, unscientific things over and over again is not debate, Pie. I'm not even sure what it is except annoying. I doubt you'll get anyone much to debate with you anymore unless they are super-bored.

This is one of the drawbacks of refusing to use any kind of sense or logic or proof in your debates. It's kind of amusing in a freaky way for a while and then everybody just says, Meh...this isn't worth my time at all.

Sort of on topic, I heard about one school which included the Creationism/ID info in a social studies class along with the creation myths of many other religions. This is where it belongs and what is fair. What is totally unfair is if Christians should get to tell their creation story when other religious groups do not.

I'm not writing this to debate you, Pie, because I don't care what kind of wacky spin you put on it. I just thought it was a good solution to the problem.

I am pretty much against teaching creationism at all. It just leads to someone saying they got left out, and everyone can just be taught evolution in their regular classes, and take a creationism class if they so desire. Obviously I am very no-religious, but the fact is evolution is just how it went, and no I will not join in on that other debate, I will just get so angry at religion I will end up breaking something or myself.

Couldn't we teach both? Eh?

Well, what they should do is eliminate World History and History in General, and replace it with World Religions.

History involves society, political, economic and cultural. I wouldn't give the other three up for culture's religion.

anyone here about the new school for black people? or should I say new school system? they teach only about black history and in a enviorment that can make it easy to learn. But ther are teachers in this system that teach only how the white people fucked the blacks over and how the white people the lesser peoples...how they were freaks chased out of africa....
