I know you did not just say Atreyu is the best band ever! C'mon man, I'm not sayin' it sucks or anything, but the best? When I think best of metal(heavy metal) I think Black Sabbath,Iron Maiden or Judas Priest. The founders of metal!

Atreyu are good, but to say they are the best is a bit narrow minded. There are literally thousands of bands out there. I mean, does Rage Against The Machine even get a look in now? They were fantastic!

Slayer, are you kidding me? You just wrote about the founders of metal and neglected Led Zeppelin and Mettalica. Yes I know, there are other good bands, but I am like everyone else, I fluctuate based on things I don't really understand, and my favourite band probably changes every month.

First of all, if your favorite band changes every month,what does that say about them?
Second, Metallica is the founder of speed/thrash metal, and Zepplin is clearly rock.

Are you kidding me? Zeppelin needed originality? I'm not even going to justify this with a response, you are just wrong. Sorry, no more discussion possible. And when I say my favourite band changes month to month, I mean I have about 5 bands that I circle through listening to, as I get tired of one I switch to another.

Alright, a friend of mine recently got a dvd of 5 HOURS OF LED ZEPPLIN. Now, they are original as far as different from other bands, but too many of their songs sound so FREAKING SIMILAR. Ahem.

I have no favorite band as I listen to a large amount of music and can't choose which one I'd choose over another but here's a small list of some of them(some death metal,some black):Savatage,Merciful Fate,Morbid Angel,Venom,Obituary,Megadeth,Iron Maiden,Black Sabbath,Bathory.
The list is in no specific order nor is it nearly completed.
