Some people are reporting that even though they couldn't get tickets for the previous screenings they were able to buy them at the theater at the time of the screening. Can't count on this but it's worth a try.
Good luck!

I believe Houston and Los Angeles (or Riverside) is already sold out.
I called Crossgates Regal in Albany but the manager there never heard of Serenity and said that there wasn't any Advance Screening Schedule for that time and day.
I'll try again in the morning I guess.

Hey, Angelus! Haven't seen you around in a while.
Browncoats have done some mighty things since we last talked.

Okay, DC sold out now too. They're going faster than they can get up online!

If I were back home in Oregon instead of out here in the middle of nowhere Montana, I would be sure to see it, but I just can't bear to drive 10 hours to see the movie right now. Besides I am a poor college student and have no money to take road trips, at least until I get my paycheck

What the heck? They already did screenings. This sounds like random geurilla marketing, just trying to get buzz/hype going, not an actual market screening.

They have already had 2 Screenings. The first one was with 10 theatres, the second with 20 theatres, and now this third screening with 35 theatres. And yes, it is to get a buzz and hype going for the film. As well as to thank the fans who have been around for some of us three years since Firefly was cancelled by giving us an early viewing of an unfinished cut of the film.
Oh, by the way, all 35 cities are now sold out.
