Okay, I'll tell my story........it's a bit long, but I hope you enjoy.
Setting: girls annual camping trip, dark back road in the country, five girls, one of them, of course, being me
It is not only a tradition, but also an initiation for new girls, for all of us to lie on the road and stare up at the stars. We do it every year, and have seen many shooting stars.
Well, this particular year, we for some reason aren't lying on the usual secton of road. Usually you can see a car coming long before it's even close. Either we got lazy, or were drunker than usual (how that's possible, i dunno

)
Anyways, so there we are, all sprawled out on the road, beers and smokes in hand, watching the stars and chatting. All of a sudden, a car is almost upon us, and we run screaming into the ditch. We had lots of time, but it was rather surprising. After the excitement died back down, I went back out on the road, not phased, and fully prepared now to watch for car lights.
My friends, however, are complete whimps.

They call me crazy, and stay in the ditch. So we are chatting back and forth, the cowards in the ditch, me on the road, when all of a sudden.................
I scream in agony, and you hear a loud clank and thud. I have just had my head run over by a young fellow on a bike.

He and his bike have fallen over onto the road, and I'm screaming and holding my head.
Okay, so this guy is really freaked out, doesn't know what's happened, is rather stunned........when four screaming girls charge at him from the ditch!
OMG, it was the funniest thing in the world! We all felt so sorry for this guy. He didn't know what to think, even after he realized he wasn't under attack. Of course, he didn't have a light on his bike, which I'm sure he went and bought first thing the next day.
So how was Netty, you are all wondering and worried about? Is that what actually caused her brain damage? The latter might be true, but I think the damage was already done.

My head was bleeding, but I'm a trooper, and I was of course very drunk. So I was fine!

"I need a new beer!" I think I let them bandage my head, and stayed up partying the rest of the night, so no worry of falling asleep with a concussion.
I was just slightly embarrased in the morning to find the whole campground new of the incident. Ah well, I was a celebrity. The girl who got her head run over by a bike.
