Am I wrong or is there a difference between the forums and the game? Someone has decided the forums have to be "family friendly" and even though I asked in the Moderation Forum for a definitive decision on what that means (i.e. does it have to be suitable for all ages of children?) there was, as usual, no answer. Family Friendly seems to mean you can talk about how much fun underage drinking and taking illegal drugs is but you can't say the word f**k or a**hat. Well, that's not my decision but I'm voicing my opinion and I think it's inconsistant. If some of the forum readers are too young and sensitive (or whatever) to read a curse word then they also shouldn't be encouraged to drink and "sedate" themselves.

The game, however, says you have to be 14 to play (even though we know there are even younger people who play) unless this age requirement has changed. If you have been paying attention, Nick, you will remember that I have stated many times that I don't think sex should be rped in Cantr because of the possibility of rping sex with someone who is 14 or 12 or even younger. Whether or not they are willing or have seen more porn on the internet than Larry Flynt, I just don't care. I have said that I won't rp sex, myself, but I'm not going to advocate restricting other peoples choices. I just hope they will make good ones. Apparantly, some adults don't mind cybering with someone who may or may not be a child or a young teen. Whatever. Live with yourselves.

I was talking about the forums not the game. If we're going to be having the Family Friendly patrol then it should extend to things other than offensive words. And if Family Friendly is supposed to be applied to the game also, then sexual rp should, indeed, not be permitted.

And since you are so hyper-aware of every infraction on the forums how about you read everything that every chars says so you can catch them being naughty, Nick?
