Cantr II Discussion Forum

I've been playing Battleship online for the last 2 days, the people there are so mean ! Of course, there's cool people who just want to game, which I'm having fun challenging, but there are crazy, crazy, people who talk about crazy things there also. Cantr was my first interactive gaming experience, so I had nothing to compare it to. Cantr, is like a soft warm teddy bear compared to what's out there. I didn't know I had struck gold when finding it. Having left home to venture into the world, so to speak, I have a new found appreciation for here. When I'm done mourning my chars and can think of a new name, which takes a long time for me, I will return. Not that's a news flash or anything, I never really left . To the people who said nice things about my first chars, please don't think that was in vain, I miss them too, and am still in mourning for them.

So you killed off Gwyneth for no reason? Damn is that a kick in the teeth... her death has led John into and intersting situation (Saying nothing more due to the 4 day rule)

If the area John is in has been taken over, report it. Ask staff to look for any player with connections to me. If that's not it, then I'm sorry. Gwyneth didn't even own a weapon, other then a hunting bow, which she never used once in her life.

Oh no, its nothing like that. Its relatively harmless. I'm starting to enjoy it actually... Lake Village has its benefits.

But John would not have left the Mountains if Gwyneth hadn't died... He had definite... feelings for her. She was his only friend.

And I don't think his current attitude is winning him anymore...

Then why didn't you say that in the first place.... Gwyneth was created from the charater that's in the movie, The Royal Tenenbaums. Gwyneth Paltrow played the role. My character, acted like hers, in having a very dry personality. It was very hard, virtualy impossible, to flirt with it. And when she did smile, it was totally out of character, so I couldn't do it much. She liked him too! He is way cool and was her friend. When I say I'm grieving, I'm not just blowing smoke up your a**, I'm seriously grieving.

When I quit, I was going to post a post asking if it was o.k. for me to tell John Gwyneth wasn't coming back. It all worked out o.k. though.

I'll take a surly teddy bear instead of a mean, rude sex talkin person anyday. Yes, I'm a rude sex talkin person, but nothing, nothing like these other people!!

We'll just call it bittersweet and meant to be. If that character is any indication to your your real personality, your not surly at all.
