And I hate it when Rev moans that he is the only CD moderator, when I have applied 3 times for the CD without ever getting a reply. If the CD needs more people, they should answer some applications...

There is only one of me! Tell me where I'm needed and I'll look; I don't always get to check every topic.
And it's the core staff that deal with applications.

I hate it when the forum threads become nonsensical mess, that has nothing to do with the title of the thread.

This thread didn't start out with an actual point. At least, not one worth following (look back and see what I mean). But I do hate meta-threads. Like this one...

I agree slowness. I hate it when the forum turns into a high school pissing contest. Grow up guys.
Nixit, you are a funny funny man. You're doing Illinois proud.

Too bad we can't say the same thing for your basketball team tonight.

Sorry, man. Roy Williams couldn't git 'r done at Kansas, but I had to root for his team anyway.

*sighs* We have talked and have discussed a few things, so the fight is over.... for now..
What I really hate is when people have to keep bringing up stuff that happened a few days ago..
Move on people!!!

I hate it when someone can't rp shit and is forced to a situation that would require emotional reaction and they can't be realistic. (Directed to a random bypasser.)

a man in his twenties gets mauled by a bear.
a woman in her twenties says: "*shock in her voice* Oh my God! Sir are you okay? Here let me help you. *attempts to stop the bleeding from the gash with a piece of hemp cloth* Oh, sir. You are hurt so badly. We must get you to safety!"
a man in his tweties says: "can you give me 3876 grams of onions? what is the exchange rate for iron here? i need to make a new key for my boat."
C'mon people!

At least make an effort every once in a while.

Don't you hate it when....
People expect you to rp everything as if you owe them for taking up thier time. You ever hear of someone who is personalitily challenged?

by wichita
I understand and appreciate personality challenged, but there a difference between roleplaying that as a character trait and simple refusal to try and actually roleplay the game.
Like I scream at my DM every session - Put the book down! Improvise. Forget the mechanics every once in a while. Don't treat this like Civ. That's all we ask.

I woulda won my bracket too...
Anyway I hate it when... people irritate you over and over and they know they're irrating you and you tell them to stop and they say they will... but the next day they do it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (This has nothing to do with this forum or the game)

Sound like my DM. He does everything as it says in the module... Personally, I don't even really prepare before DMing. I love improvising... and I love RP.

Yeah that's become the running gag at the table over the past few weeks.
Okay: I have to tell the story!
The dumbass threw a dragon at our 3 member level 2 party, simply because he rolled it up on the dungeon crawl table. Our idiot cleric decides to taunt the Dragon becasue she wanted to test her language skills and took the breath weapon to the chest in the second round. So there is our fighter with his back against the wall, fighting a dragon in a 20 x 20 room (also the result of rolling on a table), my hobbit rogue evading his butt off tickling the dragon with a sling just trying to stay alive, and the box of bandaids laying in the corner melting in a puddle of acid. We're sitting there pissed off and rolling dice with the idiot DM saying, "But that's what I rolled in the book! That's what the book told me to use! The book says you can handle it!"
PUT THE BOOK DOWN!
Three hours later we lucked out and ended up killing it, but the phrase lives on.
