I'm a bit overwhelmed though, and one of my characters seems to have caught the attention of someone claiming to be Emperor, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it (or die trying...)

A hint: If there's a lot of people around, and they don't seem to be trying to kill the man who claims he's Emperor, he's probably the Emperor.

That goes for anyone claiming they're in power, ha.

Hey. I was brought here by the User Friendly link of the day last week. Same username there as here.

I got dragged in on that link as well...

Using this as practice for the LARP that I do, this is very similer to OmegaLRP (now ended BTW) but its nice to just trundle round and chill (and my co haven't blocked the cantr2 site either!)

Out of interest, how many LARP's play here ?

I qualify on both counts. I found Cantr via UF, and I'm a LARPer. Never got to do Omega, though

Bit late, but I got in through UF as well Wasn't aware of the forums back then..but in the meanwhile I got pretty addicted to Cantr...it's pretty good..

And I'm not a LRP, well, done it once, but never really followed up on it..

I'm assuming it was UF that brought me here in the first place, I can't remember for sure. I don't know how else it would have happeded though.

I joined the forums at the same time but until now have never looked at them. When I found this discussion, I just had to make my first post.

Answering the question about LARPing, I do. But I use real swords when I do it, the sharp kind. But I tend only to do it with the other trained martial artists and swordfighters I hang round with.
