The mystery of pants

I suggest animals not to participate in the poll (unless you wear humans' clothing) since animal colour options often vary from human selections and might disturb the outcome. Plus you're probably colorblind.
Why am I asking? Because it often troubles me if the selection of pants is a learned thing or does it tell something about the carrier's personality. If you do not feel too embarrassed of revealing your secrets, you should take a look at the stereotypes listed below and see if you feel it is true with you. Groups of people with the same preferences might discuss their personalities and see if they have something in common with each other. Also, have your parents, children, pets or some other person affected what kind of pants you use?
Common stereotypes:
Wearing plain white is a sign of stupidity, or trying to cling to it. White is a symbol of purity. There are people that should not wear white pants because they're just going to drop food or other staining materials on it, and then everyone will think you're a slob who can't take care of yourself. Dork.
Wearing light colours is considered girlish, especially if they're pastels, but also is favored by metrosexuals, gay people, and those who don't care that they look like idiots. Also easy to stain but less easy than plain white. People of this group want to experience new things by wearing pants that look like flowers
Those that wear khakis are natural, business-like people. They think that pants are only a necessity we must bear. No one ever notices them because they blend in with many articles of furniture, so they are the obvious choice of young professionals and prep-school kids everywhere. Casual, yet classy. Businessmen, College students, tech geeks?
Those that wear dark pants are classy individuals who enjoy dressing up. Or they just want something that goes with everything. Geeks, Goths, Businesspeople, colorblind?
Bright red is the colour of passion, romantic, in some cases even considered immoral. Powerful, striking, sexual. If you wear red pants you'd better be Santa Clause or you ain't comin' near me.
People who wear jeans are normal. These versitile, durable garments can range from the strictly utilitarian to the $200/pair designer wear of the stars. And mostways inbetween. If you wear jeans, you probably only have two legs. Humans, wookies, monkeys?
Some people choose not to wear pants at all. This is known as "going pantsless". Some people prefer it for comfort. Scotsmen, women, exhibitionists, animals?
