I suggest guys not to participate in the poll (unless you wear women's underwear) since male colour options often vary from female selections and might disturb the outcome.

Why am I asking? Because it often troubles me if the selection of panties is a learned thing or does it tell something about the carrier's personality. If you do not feel too embarrassed of revealing your secrets, you should take a look at the stereotypes listed below and see if you feel it is true with you. Groups of people with the same preferences might discuss their personalities and see if they have something in common with each other. Also, has your mother, boyfriend, husband or some other person affected what kind of underwear you use?

Common stereotypes:

Wearing plain white is a sign of innocence, or trying to cling to it. White is a symbol of purity. There are people that could not imagine wearing any other coloured panties than white, they just wouldn't feel comfortable with them. Virgins, obsessed hygienists?

Wearing light colours is considered girlish, also innocent but less strict than plain white. Girls of this group want to experience new things but are often shy and struggling to get off the chains of tradition.

Those that wear tan are natural, old-fashioned people. They think that underwear is only a necessity we must bear. No one ever sees it, at least not for extended period, so it's best it looks like a second skin and does not even accidentally show through clothes. Casual. Housewives, conservationists?

Those that wear dark underwear are adventurous beings that are aware of their feminity and feel comfortable with it. Powerful, mysterious. Gothic type?

Bright red is the colour of passion, romantic, in some cases even considered immoral. Powerful, striking, sexual.

Girls who wear coloured panties are wild, tomboyish characters. They want to stand out from the mass. Anime enthousiasts, artists?

LOL you know what, there used to be one option more... a thing called commando - not wearing underwear at all. But then I didn't add it after all.

I wear mostly white, some light blue, small patterns or tan. I couldn't care less... oh wait, I could... I don't think I'm old enough yet (19) to wear dark underwear. And I hate those kind of panties that scrunch up between your buttocks and you must be tugging them outta there without letting anyone notice. Oh right, we were discussing colour...
