A few of you may have already heard of Audioscrobbler, or may even already use it. Most of you, though, won't.

Take a look. It's a website that compiles listening data via a plugin for whatever your favourite music player on your computer is. Any of you that listen to music on your PC (or mac, if applicable...), whether from CDs or from ripped audio files (the plugin can't tell the difference, if you were wondering...), may be interested in this. You, and your friends, can easily see what you're listening to right now, and what you've listened to in the past. You can also add friends to your profile, and easily keep track of what they like.
You can also create and join groups, so you can see what the group has been listening to as a whole. Which brings me onto our second link...

Yes, that's right. Jos has created a Cantr II group for us all to join. It's drastically skewed to my tastes in music, at the moment, because I've got over 2500 track plays recorded on my profile, while Jos has barely reached 100...
We can't let it be only my music! So come on, sign up to Audioscrobbler, download the plugin for your favourite music players (instructions can be found on the site), and join the cantr group! Overwhelm my music!
