Meteor shower 1-3AM all time zones

Postby jeslange » Thu Aug 12, 2004 2:06 am

EST people may be able to see the beginnings of it now, but the peak will be between 1-3 AM, for whatever time zone you're in

I think it might still be a bit early to see it in the Phoenix area.

Its 1:20 am here, but I still can't see a damn thing either. I think this was a hoax. A conspiracy. Look outside. All I see are goddamn lights on the ground.... Nothing.

He is a she :)
She didn't see it either, because the sky went from crystal clear to raining in an hour. Damned hurricane.

Supposedly it can be seen tonight as well though.

Earth is doing it's annual rape and pillage of the Swift-Tuttle Comet.

not a hoax, if you went outside around 2am, and sat yourself down facing northeast and stared up at the sky. they garentee about 40 meteor streaks an hour.

I went to bed, but from the looks of it, lass was outside to watch at some point last night, maybe she will tell everyone about the pretty lights.
Here I am. BITE ME. or not, in fact, never mind, dont want some wacko taking me up on the offer. Only non wacko's may apply for bite allowance.. no garentee that you will be granted said allowance, but you can try.
