what books do you read

I love fantasy and action.

Fantasy: Eddings, Feist, Mcintosh and david farland, piers anthony.

Action: Robert ludlum and matthew reilly

I couldn't vote, I read everything but romance novels. 6 inches from my left elbow is my referance shelf where I can look up just about anything I want that has to do with history, religion, weaponry, anatomy, etc, etc, about 30 reference books in all. To my right I have a 6 foot shelf full of fiction, everything but romance novels of course, and too many for me to bother counting. I've read every book I have from cover to cover at least twice, and many of them many more times. Favorite fiction authors are Stephen King and Michael Crichton.

i read almost anything I can put my hands on but my favorites are Chicken Soup books, Stephen King books and Movies that are books.

I like to read a book of a movie I have seen because you will find out more in the books. My mom is trying to get me into Harry Potter books. She claims they are great.

Currently I'm reading a great sci-fi book...but I often read fantasy books, crime novels and other things.

Lately I have been pretty swamped with the literature for the Cultural Studies though...so I'm really lacking time to read books purely for fun.

I couldn't vote. I like to read Biographies, or Books on true events. Right now I'm working my way through 2 books. One is on Manitoba History, and the other is a Biography of a Canadian Singer.

I voted Fantasy, but really what I like most are historical novels, fictious stories set around real events. My favourite author in that department is Wolfgang Hohlbein.

The Artist I'm reading up on is a Legendary Canadain Country/Folk singer. Tom Connors, commonly known as Stompin' Tom. Very good book thus far

Terry Brookes and a few others but mostly them

And i read Louis L'amour he writes about the american west history/fiction every town and creek mentioned in his books exist or existed every hill and moutain. He was a really good writer for what he wrote.

Definetly not enough options up there.

Amongst others, I am currently rereading one of my fave novels, the comical classic "Catch-22" by Joseph Heller.

hmm. My favorite author is Mr. Tolkien. He is Lotr's author.

I read Fantasy and Sci-Fi. That's it. I'm snobbish about what I read. I only will read things from specific authors.

The only one I'll say is R. A. Salvatore (Forgotten Realms series. And NO! I did NOT start the 'DoUrden Empire' in Cantr. But whoever did also reads the Forgotten Realms series, obviously.)

Aside from romance novels, pretty much anything, although I don’t read anywhere near as much as I used to.
Favourite style of book would probably be autobiographies, although I can never resist a mystery book or collection of ghost stories.
Favourite authors, off the top of my head, would be Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Richard Bach and Tolkein.

Historical novels are my favourite too, Junesun. I've never read Hohlbein though. I'll have to check him out. I've read almost all of James Michener's novels, though. He's my fave. (Centennial, Chesapeake, Drifters are the ones I liked best)

When I want more of a brainless book, as I call them, (don't take offense anyone, but after a Michener novel, that's what these are) for a quick read, I currently turn to Sandra Brown. Suspense mysteries with a flair.

I am also a big Fantasy fan........don't know if I could read another Piers Anthony book now though. Love George R.R. Martin, Weiss, Donaldson, Eddings, Feist.......omg, the list goes on forever lol.

I agree, not enough options.
