Serenity to begin shooting at the end of this weekend

Good news to all you Browncoats, according to Adam Baldwin at the Official FOX Firefly Board, Serenity is to begin shooting at the end of Memorial Day Weekend. He also says that thinks are going great so far since the cast started unofficial rehearsals at the beginning of May (it goes to show how much they love this too).
Other news from Nathan Fillion at Blackpool Shindig. He says that there won't be a new Firefly TV series, even if the movie does well, due to a contract clause that doesn't allow any cast or crew to make a Firefly TV series except with Universal and since 20th Century FOX owns the TV rights then it won't happen unless the rights are sold to Universal, an agreement is made between the two studios, or the contracts run out. He says there is also an option in the contracts that should Serenity do well in the theatres in 2005 then there will at least be two more Firefly movies.
More news to come.
