Mirc Help!!!

Hey there folks,
I use Mirc for the IRC, but for some odd reason it is currently not working and I was looking for someone who might know about the thing to give some tech support / advice??

Ask away. I have used mIRC for years without issues (except I can't use it at work any longer because of new network/firewall policies).

Well my server is still set at irc.newnet.net and port 6667.
I used to never have any problems and it would connect. Now it refuses to do so. It just continues telling me Unable to connect to server (connection timed out). Is there another way to connect to it that I don't know?

There have been times where I can't connect to the server no matter which chat client I'm using whether it be Mibbit or AndChatIRC. I feel like Newnet must be a rather unstable server since most of the time Mibbit won't connect there anyway (at least on my computer).

Does anyone know of any mobile apps for an irc client? I tried using one but it was awful. Any suggestions? c:
