Supposedly Lenseths are near relations to the Erikson Clans in Norway. Not sure of the connection but that is what one of my great uncles have told me.

Okay heres one. anyone know any McIntosh's? The only other spelling of this family name in the past 100 years is Mackintosh. Macintosh is a different clan altogether.

That is because one is Irish and the other is Scottish. Usually if a name begins with a Mc it is of Irish origins and if it is Mac it is if Scottish origins. At one time or another they might have been one Celtic tribe but then broke up with the Mc going to Ireland and the Macs going to Scotland and from there develop totally different cultures.
