Well, I like Firefly and one of the slogans is 'Keeping flying, Serenity.'

Mal: We're still flyin'.
Simon: That's not much.
Mal: It's enough.

A friend's friend was trying to rig his remote-controlled helicopter with missiles, so you should watch out for the 16-year olds flying explosive-toting UAVs above New York City.

I've always wanted to launch bottle rockets from my roof here in Manhattan. O.o It seems fun.

speaking of homeland security, right after 9/11, this afghani man came to our town and tried to get a flying license...he was arrested by the feds about 2 hours later :D
im not stereotyping people from the middle east, but our town is really small and the percentage of people that are from the middle east that live in montana is close to none...so it was really weird

@nitefyre: Sure, but we were talking picric acid (used in armor-piercing shells) warheads and gunpowder propellant here.

You could use it to rob a bank and remain unseen.

Yeah kill the guards and then bring in a remote controled truck and put the money on it then make them both exit. Only problem is someone would step on them.

Hi,

just to come back to the topic: I love to fly, and man, I REALLY do! unfortunately I've got no licence (yet?) because I was not born at the airport like andy :)

Well, until I'm able to start my career as a commercial pilot or my pilot training, I spend my time with Flight Simulation.... It may sound a little crazy, but I'm working hard on my DIY-Home-Cockpit!! My friends say I've got too much time in my life

@ Andy:

What types do you fly?? Single props???? I guess with 13 there're "just" gliders, but who knows.... :D
