..yep, that's nice. To me that's like a look at the future.
12GB of memory would be nice..
Let me know if it gets under $500 in the next few years...probably not.

I'd rather have a normal clocked quad core over an over clocked dual. Seems a little bit over priced too. I could probably build that for less than half, minus the case which is probably their own special design.

If I was rich, I'd buy that thing just to write essays on with MS Word.
Somehow I don't see the point of having an xbox 360 inside one's PC.

How is this anything close to an xbox 360?

It has an xbox 360 in it. Like it ate it for breakfast or something.

Oh it does! I did not notice that. That is stupid.

This is two overclocked six core processors. And if the Xeons are anything like the i7 I have, each core can have two threads running in parallel, giving this machine the ability of having 24 threads running completely in parallel, each at 4.3 ghz.

As for having an Xbox inside, why not? It has just about everything else... :D

It seems that the machine is for those who can spend lots of money without much worry. I wouldn't want a computer I buy to have an xbox in it, because to me it would be a waste of money.

That made me laugh though.

What'd make me happy is a laptop/netbook with 4GB+ memory that actually has a decent battery life (right now I have a 1GB memory netbook that has about half an hour of working battery, and crashes every day or so if I use Win 7, and I haven't gotten around to fixing Ubuntu on it. It works fine though.).

Not just an Xbox 360...its a liquid cooled Xbox 360!

I am not gonna get drawn into that debate as I don't know why anyone would want a console to begin with. (oh, and it has space to add a PS3 too btw).

Its also not about the generality of having it, hell, most people will never own it...but it is a beast of a system, and I sure as hell would love to have it.

Give me the specs and model of the netbook and I can hopefully help ya fix that problem. There is no way in hell that should be happening.

There are many uses for that (for gamers at least).

The people that founded Origin are the ones who left Alienware...of course it is overpriced. And yes, the case is special design.

I misread and replaced Xeon with Core. I'm pretty sure everything after pentium 4 had hyperthreading, though it's not really running in parallel. It's more like having two threads at once but jumping between them quickly.
