I have a quick question and I want all of you to answer

Is 778 review all averaging 5 stars (highest rating possible) and staying under 100 in the sales rank and almost never going above 50 in the sales rank and out for over four months good for a DVD set at Amazon.com?

never heard of the show but if you like the show and enjoy it and think it's worth the money buy it
i do this all the time then get in truble for spending too much money

I preordered the DVD in November and have had it since December. You should too. Only 30 odd bucks for 14 hours of the best television ever. Many others will tell you the same. Come one, fellow Browncoats, tell them how it is...
Buy it. You won't be sorry you did. Look at the almost 780 reviews averaging 5 stars. Can't go wrong.

With those figures it must be really popular. I've never heard of this "Firefly" though. What channel/hour's it on? It looks pretty interesting.

It was canceled after it aired 11 episodes but through no fault of its own.
FOX aired the episodes out of order and aired the 2 hour pilot episode at the end. They also did very little promotion for it and put it in the 8:00 deathslot on Friday night.
But unlike most shows, the fandom has only grown since it was canceled. Because of the fandom and the awesome and caring involvment of both cast and crew we got the DVD set last December and now because the DVD set sold extremely well, Universal is making a Firefly movie called 'Serenity' that will come out in 2005 with all the of the orignal cast and crew. It is hoped the movie will relaunch the series.
Trust me. Firefly is great. Read the reviews on Amazon.com. Also talk to West, Kasuo, Brandon, Thomas, Jos and more of your fellow Cantrians whom I have converted to being Browncoats. Actually Kasuo is a Browncoat that I converted to being a Cantrian but who is keeping count.
All in all, you won't be disappointed if you buy it. Then you can wait with your breath held for the movie in 2005.

Aye aye, good show good show, havnt bought the dvd yet but i plan to, was very hooked after the first episode.

Nope, just someone who wants everyone to know about this great show.
And I don't own any stocks. I don't believe in the stock market especially when the government controls it.
