Exactly! I guess some people just don't get it... So these must all mean the same too?
pear (fruit), pair (couple); see (with your eye), sea (the ocean).
Well, they can just bee in they're little club where spelling doesn't matter. We'll make hour own club.
I had a friend in hi school, her name was Natasha...we all called her 'Ah! Satan!' because she was the corrupting influence on everyone she met and it's her name backwards.

Re: Usernames
My name is the name I use on lojban lists. It's a lojbanic translation of my college nickname. I won't go more into detail than that, because I still like to pretend there are people here who don't know what character I play. You'll have to do your own research. Incidentally, it's pronounce GEZH-uh-spah.

Thank you! I've been trying to figure this out (and, clearly, it made no sense whatsoever to ask).

I just assumed it doesn't matter unless I actually call bobbing kitty on the phone. Who cares what it sounds like in my head? Its my head it sounds like how I want it to... and stay out of there! *shivers at the thought someone else can hear what she thinks*

How could you guess that?
I thought of it as ge-JI-spa (no long vowels).

The image of the album cover was named echoman.jpg on the bands website back when it was released in 1996.
When my brother was learning to program, he made a series of small games based around a character called Echoman. It was kind of like a pitch black Pacman with green eyes or something.
DylPickle is obvious... My name is Dylan, and childish creativity led absolutely every one of my early schoolmates to "come up" with the corruption of my name to DylPickle, so I embraced it.
Oddly enough, my full name goes perfect with Dilly Bars, but nobody realized that until high school.

Not a literal translation though.

I totally never would've made that connection! That's awesome, I'm a big Rush fan too. I saw them back in August, front and centre. Best night of my life...we sat in the sun for 8 hours just to be at the front. The blistering sunburn despite the SPF 50 was entirely worth it.
Mine is a reference to the Maya Angelou poem "I know why the caged bird sings." Read it if you never have - it's short, and pretty damn beautiful. I have part of it tattooed on me.
And all that is now
And all that is gone
And all that's to come
And everything under the sun is in tune
But the sun is eclipsed by the moon.

Re: Usernames
My username and avatar is from the movie "The Outlaw Josey Wales". The guy is on screen for like 2 mins, but quite memorable (like most of the characters in this movie). I like random strange people in movies.
I saw the movie a few days before I registered hence the name and the avatar.
WTF? I wanted to place a link to that scene on youtube, but I can't find the url! If anyone's interested, search for The Outlaw Josey Wales - Buzzards Gotta Eat, Same As Worms. That's the video's title.

I took a different route, as my limbs are actually fully functional. I had a hammertoe fixed back in high school and had a foot cast for a while. I got the nickname Gimpy from one of my friends then, I liked it for some reason, and I've used it ever since.
I'm sure you're all fascinated and at the edge of your seats, but I have to bring this anti-climactic story to a close there.

This username is from two things.
It was one of my original characters, plus, it's the name of my band.
