Yeah, 360. I can't play oblivion on my computer, and certainly not assassin's creed. I can't even play portal.

Did you manage to load Silent Hill?

I did but the screen went black after I clicked play--I told you that, silly.

There's actually a project called "Oldblivion" which makes Oblivion run very very well on old computers. You could get a PC from anywhere after '01 or so to run it with that :V

You're probably dealing with a GeForce FX or GeForce 3, which should net 15-20fps with a processor and RAM from '02. In other word it won't be smooth, but it'll be around TV frame rate, at best. And by PAL standards

NTSC is higher.

You are only stuck in the box you place yourselves in. I fit those things, but I was also a jock...playing on the football team, ran track and a wrestler; was in a garage band (man we were terrible!); plus hanging out with the chess club and wargame geeks/nerds. Its all a matter of getting along I think. Still was introverted in uncomfortable situations.
Oh, and I have brown eyes...different thread I know.
Limitations are too often self-imposed. If you see the person you wish you could be like walking around, get a friend and drag him into a locked room and then take his place. If someone who knew that person by name previously, just blame it on the hacker. Live it up!
Be well

Ohhh I know. I had this pretty little Nvidia card I wanted to use, but it wouldn't fit in any of my shitty computers. And it was just hangin' around so long, not doing anything, it finally broke.
My life goal for a computer is to one day get a brand new, tricked out Alienware. Then, I can die, because my ENTIRE LIFE will be complete.

ALTERNATIVELY, buy a budget gaming PC every 4 years or so. Something like
this. Which will run this like
this smooth as a baby's bottom.

Mmmm, I am actually looking for a new computer ATM. A gaming computer? That is less than 800?
I like.

I know we're looked at with a bit of a stigma in RP circles but.... I'm a COD guy. Mostly it's just a blast to drop people with your friends.
Aside from that, Dragon Age and Assassins Creed, followed up by a touch of Fallout obliterate my designated studying times.
NHL 11 shared a good slice of the time-pie, until some mysterious scratch showed up. Damn you xbox.

Call of Duty's okay, but if I'm going to go with a shooter I generally like zombies (L4D) and weirdos (Borderlands). War stuff isn't so very interesting when you've got family in real war.

What happened to good tycoon games.

Anybody else ever play Airlines Tycoon? It was probably one of the funnest things I ever had, even though I wasn't all that good at it.

I still play Railroad Tycoon 3. Awesomest game ever. Haven't tried Civ 5 yet, but looking forward to it.
By the way:
Nerd: Someone who is intelligent but socially awkward.
Geek: Someone who is intelligent and socially adept. Usually very good at one thing. (Band Geek, Car Geek, Computer Geek, etc.)
Dork: Someone who is socially awkward.
Which is why people will never admit to being a dork.
